What is this application / what does it do?

This application is designed to show the customer how much a house battery could save them on their energy bills. It can:

1. Connect to an Octopus Energy customer's account and retrieve their meter usage details (in half-hour blocks).
2. Check how much energy has been imported and, if available, how much has been exported (for example, from solar, wind, or hydro).
3. Calculate how much they could save by storing energy in a house battery.
4. Calculate how much they could save by switching to a different Octopus tariff.
5. Calculate how much they could save by charging the battery at cheaper rates.
6. Provide easy-to-understand statistics and graphs that you can print out to show the customer.

Application requirements:

1. The customer must be with Octopus Energy for electricity import.
2. The customer must be with Octopus Energy for electricity export, if you wish to include this in the calculation.
3. The customer must have a smart meter.
